A group of people got together last night for the inaugural meeting of a new charity service club called the After 8 Group. The aims of this group are primarily to give help and support to local disabled, particularly children, and to support the Quivers Handicapped Archery Club.
Many new ideas were suggested for fundraising including sports and music quiz evenings, a fashion show, a barn dance, a race night, a line dance, a tour round a brewery, a trip out to Spit Bank Fort in the Solent, and a mystery trip. Who said raising money can't be fun!!?? Keep your eyes open for further details of dates etc.
If anyone is interested in joining the group, or has a good cause that might benefit from our efforts please email us.
