Revd Harry Gibson

Friends old and new will remember with affection the former Vicar of St George's Church Waterlooville, the Revd Harry Gibson and his wife Joyce. On a fine morning in Spring, as he reached the Chancel steps, Fr Harry would turn to face his flock and, with a gentle smile on his face say, "Isn't it a lovely day?" Surely the perfect opening to any service of worship?

Joyce wishes us to know that Fr Harry will be celebrating 60 years of his Ministry on June 25th, 2004. An evening of thanksgiving and celebration will be held at St Wilfrid's Church, Chichester on that Friday at 7.pm, to which all are invited.
