October 2026 - ROSEMARY FOUNDATION
The Rosemary Foundation is your Hospice at home; providing in their own home the best care for patients suffering from cancer or other life-limiting conditions.
The care that is given reflects the wishes of the individual and may include help with personal care and a sitting service which is available day and night.
As the patient’s condition deteriorates, care may be increased with nurses visiting several times a day and often in partnership with existing services and support mechanisms, working alongside and in close collaboration with primary care teams.
Counselling is available to both service user and carer and remains available to carers following the death of the service user, as part of a planned bereavement support programme.
This service is available 24/7 365 days of the year operating over a 15 miles radius from its base in Petersfield.
Care is planned in close consultation with those receiving the care and monitored regularly.
November 2026 - WATER AID
Water Aid is an international non-profit organisation with one goal: to change the world through water.
Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, clean water is essential for health, dignity, and a life full of opportunity.
With all three, babies are born healthier. Children grow up stronger. Adults can earn a decent living. Whole communities start to thrive – not just now, but for generations to come.
Water Aid is about getting taps and toilets where they’re needed most – but it’s also about so much more.
It partners with communities to come up with solutions that work for them. It trains local residents, sharing skills and raising awareness of good hygiene practices. It persuades governments and decision makers to act, bringing about lasting change on a global scale.
And together, it strengthens the systems – the people, policies, institutions and resources – that keep the water flowing, long into the future.
Since it was founded in 1981, Water Aid has directly reached 30 million people with clean water, 29.6 million with decent toilets, and 31.7 million with good hygiene. We all need clean water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, it’s the foundation for good health, dignity, and a life full of opportunity.
But right now, millions of people are still living without these basic necessities.
People like eight-year-old Olivia, who used to spend precious time and energy walking to fetch dirty water every day. With no running water at her school in Manjakandriana, rural Madagascar, there was simply no other option.
“We didn't have any water to drink at school when we were thirsty. We used to fetch water down the hill... it was very dirty and the walk back to school was tiring.”
November 2026 - WATER AID
For 140 years, The Children’s Society has been here for young people when they most need support. Today, it has never been more determined to create a society built for all children. It draws on its experience and expertise; by listening to and empowering young people throughout teenhood. It collaborates tirelessly, building a movement with everyone who shares its vision. Because every child deserves to feel hopeful, happy and excited for their future.
Across the country, young people are suffering unseen and unheard – struggling with their mental health, living in poverty, and in danger from exploitation and abuse. The Children’s Society exists to protect every childhood, today and tomorrow, providing vital support and campaigning for change. It’s time to build a society for all children.
In 2024, the Children’s Society state-of-the-nation Good Childhood Report found that a shocking 11% had low wellbeing. Support services are over-stretched and under-resourced, and things are only getting worse, which means many young people are waiting months or even years for help. Too often, help is only offered at crisis point.
The Children’s Society exists to protect every childhood, today and tomorrow, providing vital support as soon as it’s needed.
Thanks to the support of people like you, Water Aid worked with Olivia's community to bring clean running water to her school, along with new toilets and hygiene blocks.
Now, Olivia and her classmates can stay hydrated and ready to focus. They can spend their time learning, not fetching water. And they can make the most of their education – and the future opportunities it brings.
